int islower( int ch );

現在のCロケールに従って、指定された文字が小文字として分類されるかどうかをチェックします。デフォルトの "C" ロケールでは、std::islower は小文字 (abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz) の場合にのみ非ゼロ値を返します。

islower が非ゼロ値を返した場合、同じCロケールで同じ文字に対して std::iscntrl、std::isdigit、std::ispunct、および std::isspace がゼロを返すことが保証されます。

chの値がunsigned charとして表現できないか、またはEOFと等しくない場合、動作は未定義です。

注記

<cctype> の他のすべての関数と同様に、引数の値が unsigned char として表現できる値でもなく、EOF と等しくもない場合、std::islower の動作は未定義です。プレーンな char（または signed char）でこれらの関数を安全に使用するには、引数をまず unsigned char に変換する必要があります。
